To provide administrative support to the Head of Research Integrity, Governance and Compliance and Research Governance team members to ensure that research projects are managed in line with the research governance policies and requirements of relevant research funders, the Health Research Authority and the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research. To meet the Universities legal and research governance requirements.
The role holder will lead the administration of research approval applications to ensure the necessary approvals and authorisations are obtained and recorded on information systems. Working closely with the Research Governance and Compliance Manager and the Head of Research Integrity, Governance and Compliance to provide recommendations on clinical research applications in line with the requirements of the Health Research Authority and the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research.

You will be expected to support the Research Governance and Compliance Manager with adherence to Clinical Trials legislation, and other regulations applicable to clinical research governance as set by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and/or the Health Research Authority (HRA).
