About the Role
As a Research & Insights Analyst within our Recruitment department, you will support Talent Identification & Recruitment through high-quality research, data analysis and presentation outputs. You will deliver focused research projects, benchmarking and horizon scanning activities, providing clear and compelling insights that inform decision-making across First Team, Global Talent and Academy recruitment.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver research projects aligned to departmental priorities and development objectives.
- Conduct benchmarking, trend analysis and market research to support recruitment strategy.
- Analyse and interpret data, reports and research outputs to generate actionable insights.
- Produce high-quality reports, presentations, briefing materials and dossiers for stakeholders.
- Translate complex data and research into clear, engaging and accessible outputs.
- Support senior leaders with evidence-based recommendations and strategic insight.
- Research best practice across high-performing teams and environments.
- Coordinate and track research and development projects while maintaining awareness of emerging tools and innovations.

The Team
You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive and dedicated team who will help you settle in and succeed. We value curiosity, teamwork and a positive approach. Working closely with recruitment leads, analysts and scouts, you’ll contribute to a high-performing environment focused on identifying and developing talent.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in a sports-related discipline or equivalent experience within a football or sporting recruitment environment.
- FA Talent Identification Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong research, analytical and insight-generation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience producing presentations, reports and data visualisations using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent attention to detail.
- Professionalism, discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
