About the Role
Build and nurture partnerships in fast-moving consumer goods while delivering high-impact research projects from proposal to debrief. Play a key role in shaping SAM’s innovative research solutions and driving client satisfaction. Responsibilities
Account Management
- Lead 2-3 FMCG accounts, fostering long-term client-business partnerships
- Ensure revenue and performance targets are consistently achieved
- Oversee timely, high-quality project delivery for your assigned team
Project Leadership
- Guide clients through product research solutions, leveraging in-house specialists when needed
- Own the full proposal-to-delivery lifecycle:
- Author technically sound, methodologically rigorous proposals with clear pricing
- Conduct client meetings, design screeners & questionnaires
- Interpret data and craft compelling, narrative-driven reports
- Present engaging debriefs adapted to client needs
- Supervise fieldwork regionally and internationally
Team Growth & Development
- Mentor a junior team of 1-3 researchers/technicians
- Foster a collaborative, innovative environment, contributing to SAM’s company-wide growth

Requirements
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years in the consumer research industry
-
Significant experience in FMCG product testing, covering:
- Core methodologies: HUTs (Home Use Tests), CLTs (Central Location Tests), IDIs (In-Depth Interviews)
- Quantitative research, with a hands-on portfolio
- Qual research: minimum awareness of when (and how) to integrate qualitative approaches or collaborate with SAM’s qual experts

Proven track record as a Senior Research Executive
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Rigorous, proactive, and responsive in meeting client and internal deadlines
Note: Proven success handling strategic FMCG clients is strongly preferred.*
