Job Title: Research Manager
Location: Canary Wharf, London (on site, minimum 12 office days per quarter)
About the Role / Job Summary:
We are seeking a Research Manager to support the leadership and delivery of a dynamic research function. This role offers an opportunity to leverage research and data to inform strategic decision-making, enhance regulation, and shape the future of pharmacy. You will lead high-quality research projects, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights. Proficiency in tools such as Excel and Power BI will be essential for analyzing and presenting data that aligns with organizational priorities while upholding the highest standards of governance and ethics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver high-quality research projects.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to produce meaningful insights.
- Develop research proposals and secure external funding.
- Build collaborative partnerships with academic and external organizations.
- Promote evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
- Ensure research governance and ethical standards are maintained.

Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- Knowledge of research methodologies, statistical analysis, governance, and ethics.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commitment to using research to drive evidence-based decisions.
Education Requirements:
- Relevant degree in social sciences, public health, or a related field.
- Advanced qualifications in research methods or a related discipline are preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience managing research projects using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Successful track record in developing research proposals and securing funding.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments or knowledge of pharmacy or healthcare is beneficial.

Details
- Salary: £39,554 - £43,000 per annum
- Location: Canary Wharf
- Hybrid Working: on site 12 days per quarter (average 1 day per week)
- Hours: 35 hours per week, from 9.00 to 5.00, Monday to Friday
- Holiday: 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays) with the option to buy an additional 5 days.
