The role involves practicing research and dissemination skills by addressing questions from malaria control programs and stakeholders.
Position Summary
Ifakara Health Institute is seeking a qualified Research Officer Intern for the Malaria Atlas Project (MAP) Dar es Salaam Node. The intern will have the opportunity to design and implement small, time-bound projects that contribute to the objectives of the project.

Qualifications And Experience
- The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, data science, or a related field, with knowledge of public health or vector-borne diseases being desirable.
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in R, Python, and QGIS, with strong attention to detail, effective time management, and a commitment to IHI core values.
