Research Scientist | $70/hr Remote
Scientific & Laboratory Operations Specialist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50–$70/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hrs/week
About the Role
A chance to support AI-driven scientific advancements by ensuring data integrity and clarity across key deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze scientific figures, laboratory reports, and experimental results for accuracy and clarity
- Assess dashboards and scientific visualizations, providing expert feedback on integrity and presentation
- Create rubrics and evaluation stems for interpreting complex industry documents and visual data
- Interpret and summarize complex scientific information to support AI training dataset development
- Document observations, highlight inconsistencies, and recommend improvements for scientific accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project deliverables

Requirements
- Strong relevant experience in scientific, laboratory, research, manufacturing, or quality environments
- Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate:
- Scientific figures
- Experiment results
- Technical publications
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills applied to complex scientific content
- Proficiency in reviewing dashboards, charts, and scientific visualizations for accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on clear documentation and feedback
