We have an exceptional opportunity to join our Sales & Marketing Team at The Lanesborough. Awarded No. 1 Hotel in London in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, on the doorstep of Hyde Park, just a short walk from Harrods, Harvey Nichols and London’s most exclusive shopping district; Sloane Street and Knightsbridge, this grand luxury mansion has undergone an inspired renovation by the famed interior designer Alberto Pinto. Candidate Profile As a Reservations Agent you will provide an exceptional guest service experience dealing with requests and queries in a professional and efficient manner. You will be responsible for taking and managing reservations via email, telephone and other method of communication. You will be an excellent communicator, with an eye for details, and take a hands-on approach to your role. You will be a great team player with a real passion for exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable experience for our guests. As Reservations Agent you handle all room and restaurant enquiries and complaints in a courteous and effective manner, following through to ensure all issues are rectified to the guest’s full satisfaction. Key Requirements The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes. Previous experience within Front Office in a 4* or 5* establishment is essential and experience in the luxury London market would be preferred. Previous experience in reservation would be preferred Excellent command of the English language and a second language would be preferred Immaculate grooming standards Show drive for Excellent Customer Service Ability to work on own initiative is essential Be available, flexible on different shift patterns Knowledge of Opera system would be preferred In return We believe in recognising and valuing the contributions of our team members.
