Here at TheSqua.re we have a great opportunity for a Reservations Manager to join our expanding team.

We have also recently launched TheSquare.AI, our new customisable booking platform designed to allow corporate clients to set up their global travel programme their own way. From offices in London, New Delhi, and virtual offices in Singapore and Dubai, we look after and house assignees from more than 500 corporate clients worldwide; these corporations range from a mix of S&P 500 to soon-to-go public tech companies.
Role Overview
The Reservations Manager will lead the sourcing and booking of hotels and serviced apartments while overseeing day-to-day operations. This role is responsible for driving team performance, improving operational efficiency, and delivering strategic initiatives. Working closely with senior leadership, the Operations Manager will ensure seamless execution of business objectives, with a strong focus on revenue growth, process optimisation, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient booking and sourcing of hotels and serviced apartments while maintaining high service standards.
- Performance Management: Monitor team KPIs, set clear objectives, and drive continuous performance improvement.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership on business strategy, revenue growth, and long-term planning.
- Project Delivery: Coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
- Process Optimisation & Automation: Streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and implement automation tools to enhance productivity and scalability.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify operational gaps and lead initiatives to improve processes across departments.
- Reporting & Analysis: Produce regular reports on performance, financials, and operational metrics to support decision-making.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop team members through structured training, feedback, and performance management.
- Supplier & Inventory Management: Maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate rates, and ensure optimal inventory availability.

Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations management, hospitality, or a similar leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive performance improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Experience with workflow automation, AI tools, and technology-driven process improvements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.

Essential Experience
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and booking hotels and serviced apartments.
- Strong background in hospitality operations, particularly within serviced apartments, short-term rentals, or hotel room operations.
- Proven financial acumen, including budget management and performance oversight.
- Experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to delegate effectively.
- Solid understanding of performance management frameworks, including setting and reviewing KPIs.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements (employment, health & safety, licensing).
- Experience implementing operational policies and procedures effectively.
