Reservations Specialist

Luxury Travel Consultant

Required for this concierge company looking to grow its travel offering by recruiting a luxury dedicated travel specialist. This is an exciting time to join an amazing company. A luxury travel background is a must, homebased is fine, salary between 38/48k plus benefits including equity in the business, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. They want someone from a very high end luxury travel background or a travel concierge company.

Luxury Travel Consultant Duties

  • Selling luxury worldwide travel, tailormades, cruise holidays, beach holidays, villas, flight only etc.
  • Booking flights directly with the airlines, but they want to bring in their own GDSs.
  • Ideally help grow and eventually manage the team.
  • Ensure systems are processors are followed.
  • Support sales and marketing activities.
  • Cultivate relationships with global travel agencies, hotels, DMCs and airlines.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to grow the travel side of the business through partnerships.

Luxury Travel Consultant Skills Required

  • Strong background in luxury premium travel.
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of high end customers.
  • GDS knowledge is a plus but certainly not a must.
  • Ideally some management/Team leader experience but this is not essential.
  • Able to come into the office 1 day a week ideally in Berkshire, but this is not essential for the right candidate.
  • Able to build relationships with the trade and negotiate new contracts.
