Role Description
This full-time, on-site Resident Care Assistant role is based in Brighton. The Resident Care Assistant will support residents with daily living activities such as personal care, mobility assistance, hygiene, and dressing, while promoting independence and dignity.

- Monitoring residents’ well-being
- Reporting changes in condition
- Assisting with meals
- Supporting recreational and social activities
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Following care plans
- Adhering to health and safety standards
The Resident Care Assistant will work closely with nursing and care staff, families, and other professionals to ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care and support for daily living activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, families, and colleagues
- Capacity to follow care plans, maintain records, and adhere to health, safety, and safeguarding standards
- Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented care environment
- Prior experience in residential care, healthcare, or support work is beneficial
- Relevant care-related training or certification (e.g., NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or equivalent) is an advantage
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
