About Linde Material Handling

Linde Material Handling, a global leader in forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, is seeking skilled Resident Engineers to join their exceptional team.

About the Role

As a Resident Engineer, you’ll be stationed directly at a customer site, serving as an integral member of their team. This position offers:

  • A variety of dynamic tasks tailored to meet unique operational challenges
  • A frontline role where every day brings new opportunities for growth and development

Responsibilities

This role involves diving into the dynamic realm of material handling, where you’ll become a valued professional on-site. Tasks may include:

  • Assisting with equipment installation, setup, and commissioning
  • Addressing operational queries and resolving technical issues
  • Providing expert support to on-site staff
  • Overseeing equipment performance and promoting best practices
  • Collaborating closely with customers to ensure peak operational efficiency

Package We Offer

Compensation and Working Hours

  • A competitive salary scale dependent on your experience
  • Option for either a 40-hour or 45-hour working week, Monday to Friday
    • Shift premium and overtime available for those interested
  • Additional days of holiday based on long service milestones

Equipment and Support

  • Support from local and national technical support teams
  • Laptop and phone provided for work purposes
  • All specialist tooling provided with tool replacement policy (Wear and Tear covered)
  • Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplied, including cleaned company specialist workwear
  • Company van and fuel card (applicable on certain sites only)

Requirements and Qualifications

To become a part of this vibrant professional environment, successful candidates will typically possess:

  • A technical qualification related to engineering, maintenance, or material handling
  • Substantial experience in engineering or technical maintenance within a relevant industry
  • Proven on-site support experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve technical issues and resolve customer concerns effectively
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of technical expertise whilst fostering a collaborative working environment
