Resident Engineer

We are interested in candidates with experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, particularly those who have worked as forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians, or vehicle technicians. Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is highly desirable. In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks, working with our full range of products, from small pallet trucks to Counterbalance trucks, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks, and automated trucks. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and rectifying faults, performing preventative maintenance, and servicing Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at our customer sites. This role is to join our team at our customer site in DN14. We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you! Do you have experience in one for the following disciplines, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Hydraulics? Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential. We use the latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders, therefore being comfortable using IT equipment is essential. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence (Field and Resident Engineers only). As a Linde engineer you will need to be comfortable working autonomously and within a team. The option for either a 40-hour or 45-hour working week – Monday to Friday Shift premium Overtime opportunities - @ time plus on half Monday to Saturday & some bank holidays Double Time on Sundays and some Bank Holidays 25 days annual leave + statutory bank holidays Additional days holiday based on long service milestones.
