MadiganGill are currently seeking a proactive and personable Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a construction team on a 12-month contract, with an immediate start available.
As the key point of contact between the site team and residents, you will play a vital role in ensuring clear communication throughout planned construction and refurbishment works to occupied residential flats. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys building positive relationships and resolving issues professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for residents before, during, and after construction works.
- Keep residents informed of project schedules, upcoming works, and any changes that may affect them.
- Conduct resident visits and maintain regular communication to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Respond to resident enquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaise closely with site managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to coordinate works and minimise disruption.
- Maintain accurate records of resident communications, appointments, and feedback.
- Assist with access arrangements and ensure residents are aware of health and safety requirements.
- Support the successful delivery of the project by promoting excellent customer satisfaction.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Customer Liaison Officer, Housing Officer, or in a customer-facing role within construction, housing, or property maintenance is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and professional when handling complaints.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
