Resident Liaison Officer
We have a new opportunity for a Resident Liaison Officer to join our team within our Vistry Special Projects division, at our various sites in London. As our Resident Liaison Officer, you will lead on resident engagement and support the delivery of a major regeneration project. This full-time role is central to ensuring residents are actively involved, well-informed, and supported throughout the regeneration journey. You will work closely with local authorities, partners, and the community to manage the decant procedure with care and professionalism, helping to build trust and deliver a positive experience for all affected households.

What we would like from you...

- Experience in resident liaison, community engagement, or customer service within housing, regeneration, or construction
- High levels of empathy and resilience to handle sensitive and challenging situations with residents
- Strong understanding of construction processes and how they impact residents during regeneration and decant phases
- Solid knowledge of decant procedures and partnership working
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive conversations
- Proven ability to work across multiple projects and with diverse stakeholders
- Highly organized, with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

- Develop and implement tailored communication plans for regeneration projects.
- Serve as the main point of contact for residents, ensuring timely and transparent updates on the construction programme.
- Organize resident meetings, community events, and feedback sessions.
- Support the planning and execution of the decant process, ensuring compliance with policy and sensitivity to resident needs.
- Coordinate with housing partners to support relocation progress.
- Provide support to partnerships throughout the move, including frequent liaison and logistical planning.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities, housing associations, and community organisations.
- Act as a liaison between Vistry Homes and external partners to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Represent Vistry Homes at stakeholder meetings and forums.
- Share best practices and provide support to other regeneration projects across the region.
- Support regional teams in delivering consistent resident engagement strategies.
- Contribute to the development of regional policies and procedures related to decant and liaison work.
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, decant progress, and partnership activities.
- Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure smooth delivery.
