Optometrist – Eyehut
Location: Eyehut 21 St Peter Street Derby DE1 2AA United Kingdom
Contract: Permanent | Salary: £40,000 – £55,000+ (to be discussed / DOE)
About the Role
At Eyehut, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care – using modern diagnostic equipment, collaborating with experienced colleagues, and supporting your community with clinical excellence. Eyehut is currently recruiting an Optometrist for our Derby practice. You'll join a supportive team dedicated to delivering outstanding eye care to the local community while working in a modern, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead eye clinics and deliver outstanding patient care.
- Use advanced testing technology to assess eye health and provide professional guidance.
- Provide enhanced services such as triage support and advanced eye health assessments.
- Offer clinical support and guidance to colleagues.
- Collaborate with external healthcare professionals.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and share insights with the team.
- Contribute actively to the leadership and smooth operation of the practice.

Requirements
- Qualification: Confident, compassionate, and patient-focused Optometrist.
- Registration: GOC registered (or expecting registration within 6 months).
- NHS Performer Number: Possession or working towards gaining one.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
- Mindset: Genuine interest in patient care and professional development.
Desirable
- Experience providing enhanced services.
- Familiarity with local clinical networks.
