Resident Services Assistant – Foundry Courtyard (29 Hours Per Week)

About the Role

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive and supportive environment for students? If so, the exciting opportunity to join Homes for Students as a Resident Services Assistant at Foundry Courtyard is waiting for you.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday (4 x 6-hour days, 1 x 5-hour day)

Your Responsibilities

As a Resident Services Assistant, you will:

  • Provide a warm and friendly meet-and-greet service, reception support, and help desk assistance.
  • Offer administrative support to the operations team and General Manager.
  • Deliver exceptional customer care to students, visitors, and external contacts.
  • Operate a professional helpdesk and telephone service, responding promply to queries.
  • Handle customer and visitor inquiries via email, website, telephone, and in-person.
  • Support open days, intake days, and departures, ensuring smooth procedures.
  • Act as a role model for excellent service delivery and inspire team members.
  • Problem-solve and address/resolve complaints in a professional manner.
  • Organise workload efficiently to meet deadlines without close supervision.

  • Exceptional customer service skills, combined with a helpful, patient, and approachable attitude.
  • Strong IT proficiency, with experience using Microsoft Office software.
  • Quick and effective learning ability to adapt to new challenges.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in a diverse environment.
  • Problem-solving skills, keeping students’ needs a top priority.
  • Experience prioritising tasks whilst maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • Customer service experience (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team with a flexible, adaptable mindset.
