Cobalt is supporting a leading Build to Rent operator in the search for a Resident Services Associate to join their on-site team in Salford.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in residential property, Build to Rent, PBSA, estate management, property management, lettings, or customer-focused housing environments who enjoys building relationships and delivering an exceptional resident experience.

The Company

Our client is one of the UK's most established and respected Build to Rent operators, managing high-quality residential communities across the country. Their focus is on creating outstanding living environments where residents feel supported, valued, and proud to call home.

With a strong emphasis on customer service, community engagement, and operational excellence, they are committed to delivering a best-in-class rental experience throughout the resident journey.

The Role

As a Resident Services Associate, you will act as a key point of contact for residents, visitors, contractors, and prospective tenants. Working as part of the on-site management team, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the building while delivering a consistently high standard of service.

This role combines front-of-house responsibilities with wider property and resident services support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and the operational side of residential property management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional resident experience through proactive and professional customer service.
  • Act as the first point of contact for resident enquiries, resolving issues efficiently and escalating where required.
  • Support the day-to-day operation of the building, ensuring communal areas and resident facilities are maintained to a high standard.
  • Build strong relationships with residents and contribute to a positive community atmosphere.
  • Assist with resident onboarding, move-ins, move-outs, and tenancy-related administration.
  • Support property inspections, access arrangements, contractor management, and maintenance coordination.
  • Work closely with the wider property management and facilities teams to ensure service standards are consistently achieved.
  • Handle resident feedback and help identify opportunities to improve service delivery.
  • Promote health and safety compliance and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for all residents and visitors.
  • Support resident events, engagement initiatives, and community-building activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
