Care Assistant (Day Post) – Pro rata
Salary: £25,949 per annum (equivalent for Part-Time, 36.75 hours per week) Location: Bowgreave Rise Contract: Permanent, Day Rotas Shift Pattern: [08:00–20:00] (Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday | Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Thursday & Friday)
About the Role
This day care assistant role is not open to international sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
Our successful candidate will demonstrate foundational care certificate competency and contribute to:
- Staff-led support for older people, fostering independence and well-being.
- Maintaining the daily roaster and adhering to health & safety standards.
- Strong teamwork and adhering to clear compassionate care protocols.
Training & Support:
- Full coverage of Care Certificate training payable by us to ensure full competence.
Requirements
Essential:
- Heightened awareness of ethical care (basic core values required).
- Ability to adhere to lancashire.gov.uk lifting & handling procedures.
- Child Protection Awareness.
- Clear preference for positive, person-focused attitudes towards older people.
