Care Assistant (Residential/Social Work) – Part-Time (12 Hours/Week, Evenings)
Role Details
- Location: Barnoldswick, Lancashire
- Hours: Part-time (12 hours/week, evenings)
- Type: Permanent
- Salary: £25,949 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
- Note: This role is not open to international sponsorship
About the Role

We’re looking for compassionate individuals with the right values, attitude, and behaviours to join our ** Older People Care Services** team. Your role will be to support older people to live their lives in their own way with kindness, dignity, care, and compassion.
Our team of over 1,000 dedicated professionals care for more than 1,000 adults across 16 residential care homes and 13 day centres in Lancashire, including support for those living with dementia and their families.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide compassionate, person-centred care to older adults in a residential setting
- Work alongside a professional team to promote dignity and independence
- Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility
- Participate in a structured induction and training programme
- Work evenings (specific shifts dependent on service needs)
Requirements & Eligibility
- Criminal record checks (DBS) are mandatory for this role. See details below
- Evidence of experience/education must be provided in your application to show you meet the role criteria
