Permanent Part-Time Care Worker (Older People Care Services)
Salary: £24,796 - £25,185, Per annum Hours: 24.5 per week (Rota: 8:00 - 15:30, 2 days on, 2 days off) Location: Grove House Contract: Part-time (salary paid pro-rata, full-time equivalent quoted)
About the Role

We are seeking individuals with the right values, attitude, and behaviours to join our team and make a real, positive difference in the lives of older people. We support individuals to live their lives their way, with kindness, dignity, care, and compassion.
You’ll be part of a group providing high-quality care to over 1,000 adults across Lancashire, operating 16 Care Homes and 13 Day Centres. Support includes care for older adults, individuals with dementia, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist and support older people in a hospitable, respectful, and engaging manner
- Contribute to maintaining the daily life standards of our residents
- Join a team aligned to our vision: “To be the best quality service, safely supporting older people with kindness, dignity, care, and compassion to live their life their way”
- Adapt to a shift pattern (8:00–15:30, 2-day workwk)
- Participate in community-focused care activities
Requirements
Training & Support
- We provide paid training and support to help you work proficiently against the standards of The Care Certificate
- Essential certification: Enhanced DBS Check (eligible under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 with appropriate registration)
