Salary: £13.31 per hour plus incentives
Hours: Full-time permanent contract (7pm–7am, 2–3 shifts per week, including alternate weekends)
Location: Walkeringham, DN10 4LD

About South Moor Lodge
Nestled in tranquil Walkeringham (5 miles west of Gainsborough), South Moor Lodge is a beautifully restored nineteenth-century barn Lodge, expanded tastefully to retain its character—balancing homely warmth with modern comforts. Surrounded by two acres of landscaped gardens, this home specialises in personal and dementia care for 41 residents.
Role Responsibilities: Care Assistant
As a Care Assistant, you’ll:
- Provide compassionate, person-centred support with tasks such as washing, dressing, and assistance with meals.
- Encourage resident independence, upholding choice, dignity, and respect while fostering physical and emotional wellbeing.
- Maintain Daily Charts at 90%+ compliance during monthly audits.
- Complete all mandatory training on schedule (100% attendance required).
Role Requirements: Essential Qualifications
- Clear motivation, empathy, or relevant care experience.
- Local proximity (within 30 mins’ commute to the care home).
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to demanding schedules.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills.
- A caring, nurturing disposition and a positive, enthusiastic outlook.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
