Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinator
Salary: £14.13* per hour plus incentives Hours: Full-time (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 5 shifts per week, including weekend working*) Location: Ewerby, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 9PL

About St Andrew’s Nursing & Care Home
St Andrew’s is a care home set within a charming old vicarage (selectively extended to retain its character) in the picturesque village of Ewerby, just 5 miles east of Sleaford. The home offers:
- Personal care, nursing, and dementia care.
- Accommodation for 42 residents in a homely, modern environment.
Role Responsibilities
As the Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinator, you’ll:
- Plan and organise engaging activities to enhance residents’ quality of life.
- Exhibit strong time management and interpersonal skills while maintaining enthusiasm and creativity.
- Act as an Ambassador for Jasmine Healthcare, both inside and outside the home.
- Develop weekly personalised activity plans (prepared by Monday) to bring joy and engagement to residents.
- Share successful ideas with a broader team of Engagement Coordinators.
- Provide support to residents facing confusion or behavioural challenges using:
- Person-centred distraction techniques.
- Activity baskets.
- One-to-one comfort and companionship (documenting interactions in residences’ notes).
- Promote engagement offline and online:
- Upload the weekly activity calendar to Facebook and ensure physical visibility around the home.
- Post thoughtful content on the home’s Facebook page.
- Stay updated on best practices:
- Attend quarterly activity meetings.
- Compile the monthly newsletter for distribution (print and digital).
- Engage the wider community:
- Send communication emails to the team, relatives, and friends to promote activities.
- Fundraise regularly (all fundraising is £-for-£ matched by Jasmine Healthcare).

Role Requirements
To excel in this position, you must:
- Have at least two years’ relevant experience as an Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinator or an equivalent role in a care home or similar environment.
- Hold NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Activities, or agree to contractually work towards obtaining it.
- Be available to work 35 hours minimum per week, including two weekend shifts every four weeks.
- Live within 20 minutes’ travel time of the home.
