Residential Childcare Worker – Kirkcaldy

Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Provide safe, nurturing, child-centred care in a residential setting.
- Work alongside colleagues to develop and review individual care plans.
- Support day-to-day routines (education, health, self-care, emotional wellbeing).
- Plan and organise leisure, recreational, and community activities.
- Handle domestic tasks (cooking, cleaning, home maintenance) to foster a homely atmosphere.
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of children’s progress and care needs.
- Collaborate with families, partners, and agencies to meet young people’s needs.
- Uphold safeguarding protocols and ensure children’s welfare.
- Embed The Promise Scotland principles: love, listening, and respect.
