Residential Child Care Worker
Salary: £28,142 - £32,061 per annum (Permanent, Full-Time, 37 hours/week) + enhancements Location: Central Lancashire – Chorley, Preston, or Lytham Hours: Rotating shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties Visa Sponsorship: Not available for this role
About the Organisation
We are a Children’s Residential Service expanding across Lancashire with new and enhanced children’s homes. Our mission is to provide exceptional care for children and young people aged 11 to 17, empowering them through supportive, meaningful relationships.
We focus on:
- Eating and sleeping alongside children in care
- Addressing adverse childhood experiences or trauma
- Supporting emotional and behavioural development in a creative, engaging environment
- Collaborating with schools, social workers, police, and health teams.
About the Role
As a Residential Child Care Worker, your responsibility is to provide 24/7 support to young people in our homes, including:
- Cooking, cleaning, and basic household tasks
- Developing 1:1 emotional and behavioural strategies
- Partnering with professionals to address individual needs.
