Residential Child Care Worker
Salary: £28,142 – £32,061 per annum (Permanent, Full-Time, 37 hours per week) Location: East Lancashire (Clitheroe, Burnley & Padiham) Commitment: Weekdays, evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts Visa sponsorship is not available for this role

About We Are
Our Children’s Residential Service is expanding with new and upgraded homes across the County. We’re seeking enthusiastic and dedicated professionals to join us in roles across Padiham, Burnley & Clitheroe.
As a service, we believe every child should thrive and build those essential supportive relationships that last a lifetime. We encourage more than just regular care—we provide fun, creative, and engaging activities for children and young people (aged 11–17 years) to develop all aspects of life.
About the Role
You’ll live and work in a children’s home to provide dedicated, personalised attention.
Your duties will include:
- Sharing daily life with vulnerable children and young people (aged 11–17)
- Eating, sleeping, and supporting basic household tasks (cooking, laundry, and maintenance)
- Giving care and emotional support by listening, considering feelings, behaviours, and collaborating with health workers, social workers, schools, and the police
- Promoting a supportive and fun environment and supporting growth and development
