Residential Childcare Worker
Location: Dunscore
- Shift Pattern: 2-on, 4-off with overnight sleep-ins
- Wages:
- £25,642.50 – £26,032.50 per annum
- **+ £67.50 per sleep-in (5 expected monthly, adding £800+ annually)
Requirements:
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence – No sponsorship available
- Commitment to extraordinary dedication in making a meaningful impact
- Suitable for applicants with or without prior experience, from backgrounds including:

Responsibilities
As a Residential Childcare Worker, your key duties will include:

Supporting young people with daily routines, such as:
- Preparing for school
- Assisting with meals
- Developing activity plans

Creating a warm, homely environment through:
- Light housekeeping assistance
- Building strong, meaningful relationships
- Providing emotional support

Facilitating engaging, fun activities, including:
- Park outings and creative projects
- Movie nights and educational games

Accurate record-keeping using a digital care system (training provided, prior Clearcare experience is advantageous but not mandatory).
Where You’ll Work
atherospec’s home, Wallace Hall in Dunscore, is a registered 6-bed facility offering unique volumes and grounds for young people’s enjoyment. The site consists of ‘The Main House’ and ‘The Annexe’, creating a supportive living environment.
