Roles available:
- 2 x full-time permanent contracts, 37 hours per week
- 1 x part-time temporary contract for 12 months, 18.5 hours per week.
Levels:
- Level 1 Grade E - £26,824 to £28,142 per annum pro rata, plus sleep in allowance and weekend enhancements.
- Level 2 Grade G - £32,061 to £33,699 per annum pro rata, plus sleep in allowance and weekend enhancements.
This is an exciting opportunity in Norfolk Residential Children’s Homes providing emergency and time-limited, specialist care for young people (male and female) aged between 8 - 17 years, when either family, foster care, mainstream residential or other community-based placements are not possible or desirable at the time.
As a level 1 Residential Children’s Practitioner you will be expected to:
- Provide direct care and support to children and young people
- Help create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment
- Support daily routines
- Build trusting relationships
- Encourage participation in education and activities
- Contribute to positive outcomes for children

As a level 2 Residential Children’s Practitioner you will also be expected to:
- Contribute to an assessment of the child's needs with the objective of either reunification, a move to a family or community-based placement, or a longer term or a more specialised residential home
