Job Description
Location: Crystal Care Solutions - Shandon House
Waking Nights - Residential Children's Worker Role, Full Time, working a 5:2 rolling 2 weeks shift system
Contract: 35-37.5hr plus overtime if required.

Your Role
- Build positive, respectful relationships with children and young people.
- Support care plans, development goals, and emotional well-being.
- Promote safeguarding, routines, and behavioural boundaries.
- Engage young people in education, recreation, and daily life skills.
- Act as a key worker and lead shifts where appropriate.
- Maintain records and liaise with families and external professionals.

Salary: Subject to Experience/Qualifications - overtime available

- Full UK driving licence.

Desirable
- Experience working with children or vulnerable people.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of child development, trauma, and safeguarding.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks.

Required Criteria
- Ability to maintain and develop positive relationships with children, professionals, and colleagues.
- Ability to act as a positive role model demonstrating honesty and integrity.
- Ability to work shifts including weekends and sleep-ins.
- Commitment to complete a Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
- Ability to commit to shift system which covers all days of the week over a 2-week period.
Desired Criteria
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or equivalent qualification.

Salary: From £13.85 Hourly to £14.84 Hourly
