An established and respected legal practice is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional who enjoys managing their own caseload while delivering an exceptional level of service to clients. The successful candidate will be confident handling residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently while maintaining excellent levels of client care.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to post-completion.
- Providing clear, professional advice and regular updates to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
- Preparing contracts and legal documentation.
- Ordering and reviewing searches.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, and other third parties.
- Handling exchanges, completions, and all associated post-completion formalities, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
- Responding promptly to enquiries and progressing matters efficiently.
- Developing strong working relationships with local estate agents and introducers.
- Identifying opportunities to refer clients to other legal services where appropriate.
- Contributing to business development and supporting the continued growth of the department.

Essential Experience
- Previous experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process.
- Excellent client care and relationship management skills.
- Experience working to deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good IT skills and confidence using case management systems.
- Understanding of anti-money laundering regulations and Solicitors Accounts Rules.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing workloads in a busy environment.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive.
- Experience using legal case management software.
