Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

Location: Sheffield Salary: Competitive + Benefits

An established and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to support its busy residential property team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancing assistant or paralegal looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.


The Role

You will assist fee earners with a varied caseload of residential property transactions, ensuring matters progress efficiently while providing a high standard of client care throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with residential sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages.
  • Drafting contracts, transfer deeds, SDLT returns and supporting documentation.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors.
  • Preparing contract packs and managing transaction administration.
  • Ordering searches and reviewing documentation.
  • Supporting exchange and completion processes.
  • Maintaining accurate case management records and compliance procedures.

About You

  • At least 12 months’ experience within a residential conveyancing team.
  • Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using case management systems would be advantageous.
