Residential Development Senior Associate
Senior Associate – Residential Land Acquisition
About The Role
This is a multi-faceted position where you will collaborate with major housebuilders and niche developers. Core responsibilities include:
- Complex and large-scale land acquisitions across England and Wales
- Collaborative agreements between developers and landowners
- Service parcel disposals
- Funding arrangements and strategic options
- Urban regeneration projects
The Team
Gateley’s Residential Development Unit partners exclusively with housebuilders, representing all of the top 10 and 18 of the top 20 UK housebuilders. With 1,000+ specialists, we are the largest residential development team in the UK, offering a full acquisition-to-disposal service.
Our Land Team specialises in:
- Large-scale development agreements
- Conditional contracts & corporate joint ventures
- Strategic land projects
- Collaborative arrangements & corporate transactions
The team benefits from support from specialist Litigation, Planning, and Construction teams, with eight Partners, including Andy Wilson (Lead Partner South and Callum Nuttall (Property Platform Head)._progressing from within.**
The Person
We are seeking a Senior Associate with:
- A minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience
- Housebuilder-specific experience
- A track record of mentoring junior team members
