Residential Home Manager
Residential Service Manager – Exceptional Residential Care Home (Oundle, Peterborough)
One of UK’s leading healthcare providers is seeking a committed Residential Service Manager to oversee an exceptional residential care home serving elderly individuals with dementia, located in a pleasant residential area near Oundle, Peterborough.
About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours/week, days-only) within one of the UK’s recognised health and care providers. The care home specialises in respite residential care for the elderly with dementia.
Education & Essential Qualifications
- Mandatory: NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care
Key Responsibilities
As Residential Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing evidence-based individualised care packages, therapeutic interventions, and personalised activity programmes
- Leading and supervising support and nursing teams to ensure delivery of the highest standards of person-centred care, incorporating clinical governance and effective personal development
- Ensuring a strong understanding of the health and social care needs of residents, particularly those with mobility or continence issues—utilising appropriate aids and equipment
- Overseeing that all residents receive the necessary levels of personal care, including personal hygiene support

Preferred Skills & Experience
Candidates would benefit from:
- Experience as a Residential Care Manager
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and the Health and Social Care Act 2008
- Familiarity with sickness management, staff training & development, and team coaching & mentoring
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Managing a 亿元employee team while maintaining strong interpersonal relationships
- Ability to recognise and support the unique health and social care needs of elderly residents (especially dementia-related and mobility-dependent)
