Residential Night Care Assistant | Part time | Bowgreave Rise Residential Care Home | Garstang
Night Care Support Worker (Part-Time) Bowgreave Rise, Lancashire County Council | £25,949 per annum (pro rata) + night enhancement between 11pm–7am
This part-time, permanent role—open to UK residents only—operates between 22:00–08:00. Your rota pattern covers the following weeks:
- Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday
- Week 2: Monday, Tuesday
- Week 3: Sunday, Monday, Saturday
- Week 4: Sunday, Friday, Saturday
- Week 5: Thursday, Friday
- Week 6: Wednesday, Thursday (Full rota details at Job Description)
We are recruiting to care for older people, individuals with dementia, and their families across 16 care homes and 13 day centres in Lancashire. Delivery will align with The Care Certificate standards, fully funded by us.

Responsibilities

- Support older people with personal care, mobility, and companionship across homes and day centres.
- Safely assist up to **1,000 adults** daily, including those with **dementia**.
- Contribute to safeguarding vulnerable individuals—**radio communication training** included.
- Promote independence and joy in daily activities (care plans per person).
Critical: Requires adherence to dignity, confidentiality, and person-centred approach.
Requirements
- Evidence-based application: Complete the education/experience sections—prioritise details of care-related tasks, proactive problem-solving, or teamwork. (Unsubstantiated entries may disqualify you before interview.)
- Commitment to ** evenings+shift work** (21-hours/week).
- A criminal record check via DBS will be required if selected.
Note: Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 filtered by exceptions.
