Residential Nursing Home Care Assistant Days

£700 SIGN ON BONUS! (Paid after three months of employment)

Care Assistant - Days

  • Salary: £13.62 per hour* plus incentives
  • Hours: Full-time (3-4 shifts per week, 7am–7pm, including alternate weekends)
  • Location: Sleaford, NG34 9PL

About St Andrew’s Nursing and Care Home

Our 42-resident care home is located in the village of Ewerby (5 miles east of Sleaford), set within a beautifully preserved 19th-century vicarage tastefully extended to provide a homely yet modern environment. We offer personal and dementia care, committed to promoting independence, dignity, and respect.


Role: Care Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality personal and daily living support (bathing, dressing, feeding) to promote independence and well-being.
  • Ensure resident dignity, choice, and emotional resilience throughout care.
  • Maintain 90%+ compliance in Monthly Daily Charts Audits.
  • Remain 100% current with all mandatory training throughout the year.

Requirements:

  • Motivated or relevant care experience.
  • Located within 20 minutes’ drive of Sleaford.
  • Ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Caring, nurturing, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Effective time management and organisation skills.
