⏰ Schedule & Location
- Contract: Full-time permanent shifts (7 PM to 7 AM).
- Shift Split: Dates rotating between 3 and 4 shifts, including alternate weekends.
- Location: St Andrew’s Nursing & Care Home – NG34 9PL, Ewerby (5 miles from Sleaford).
- Property: Beautiful care home built within a historic extended vicarage, maintaining warmth and modern standards.

🏢 About St Andrew’s Nursing & Care Home We cater for 42 residents requiring personal care, nursing care, and dementia support in a residential setting with compassionate care standards.
🚀 Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will ensure the highest care standards across:
- Supporting residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing with dignity, independence, and personal choice.
- Leading your shift to evoke excellent standards of care and inspire team collaboration.
- Completing medication rounds and daily paperwork accurately, ensuring compliance with audits.
- Promoting best practice, addressing any deteriorations in service.
- Holding bi-monthly one-to-one reviews with team members.
- Investigating any resident concerns or complaints (per specific guidance).
📋 Required Qualifications & Experience
✅ Registration/Professional Qualification to a level equivalent to NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care. ✅ At least two years' experience as a Care Assistant in a nursing or residential setting. ✅ Experience in person-centred care planning approach. ✅ Understanding the rights and protections of vulnerable adults, plus reporting in suspected cases of abuse. ✅ Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. ✅ Commitment to progressive, well-rounded team leadership. ✅ Ability to live within 30 minutes of the home. ✅ Caring, nurturing, and positive outlook – prioritising resident trust and morale.
