Residential Property Associate
Location: Liverpool
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid Working Available
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
The Opportunity
A respected Legal 500-ranked specialist law firm is looking to recruit a Residential Property Associate to join its well-established Property team in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer to become part of a Partner-led department with an outstanding reputation, a loyal client base and a consistent stream of quality work. The firm is known for delivering practical, commercially focused advice while building long-standing relationships with both clients and professional referrers.
The Property team advises on a wide variety of transactions, with particular expertise in high-value residential conveyancing, development matters and secured lending. Thanks to strong referral networks and repeat instructions, the team continues to enjoy a healthy and varied workload.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to post-completion, ensuring clients receive an excellent level of service throughout every stage of the transaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
- Handling remortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions.
- Advising clients on bridging finance and secured lending arrangements.
- Reviewing title documentation, searches, mortgage offers and contracts.
- Preparing reports on title and drafting the necessary conveyancing documentation.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers and other solicitors to ensure transactions progress efficiently.
- Overseeing exchange, completion and post-completion formalities.
- Building strong relationships with clients and professional introducers.
- Supporting marketing and business development initiatives within the department.

About You
Applications are welcomed from:
- Qualified Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives (CILEX) with 3+ years' PQE in Residential Property.
- Lawyers with experience independently managing a full residential conveyancing caseload.
- Candidates with strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential conveyancing, including leasehold transactions.
- Professionals who pride themselves on delivering excellent client care and maintaining strong relationships.
- Commercially minded individuals with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
- Candidates who enjoy developing networks with clients and referrers.
- Those with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
