An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a Legal 500-ranked Residential Real Estate team at a highly respected regional law firm with a strong and established presence.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, advising a broad client base across the full range of residential real estate matters, including:

  • Acting for buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants
  • Residential sales and purchases
  • Development and investment transactions
  • Lease extensions, licences for alterations, and deeds of variation
  • Refinancing and transfers of equity
  • Wayleaves, options, and overage arrangements

You will also play an active role in client relationship management, team development, and the continued growth and profile of the residential property practice.

About You

You will be a technically strong, commercially minded, and client-focused residential property lawyer with:

  • over 4 years’ PQE in residential real estate
  • Proven experience managing a full caseload independently
  • Strong technical ability and attention to detail
  • Confidence handling demanding clients and complex matters
  • Sound knowledge of AML requirements, including robust SoF and SoW checks
  • Ability to meet billing targets and contribute to winning new work
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A professional, proactive, and personable personal brand

You will be encouraged and supported to:

  • Build and deepen long-term client relationships
  • Attend and contribute to networking and marketing events
  • Write articles, website content, and LinkedIn posts

  • Assist with developing and maintaining precedents
  • Take an active role in departmental and firm-wide initiatives
