Residential Property Senior Legal Admin Assistant

We’re working with a long-established and highly respected law firm looking to recruit a Senior Legal Admin Assistant to join their Residential Property team in Wymondham.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning practice, supporting fee earners and ensuring the smooth running of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion.
The Role
We are seeking a confident and proactive Senior Legal Admin Assistant to support the Residential Property team. You will work closely with fee earners, providing essential administrative and client-facing support to ensure transactions progress efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors in a professional manner
- Drafting and issuing sale contracts and standard conveyancing documentation
- Ordering mortgage redemption figures and property searches
- Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms and post-completion paperwork
- Supporting the exchange and completion process
- Handling incoming calls, taking messages, and responding to basic client queries
- Providing quotes, onboarding clients, and supporting busy periods
- Filing, scanning, and maintaining accurate client records in line with regulatory standards

About You
- Knowledge of the conveyancing process is advantageous (full training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident handling telephone queries and client interactions
- Ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Proactive, reliable, and professional approach
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role
