Residential Property Partner
Residential Property Partner | High-Net-Worth Client Base & Strong Internal Referral Network If you’re a Residential Property Partner looking for a stronger platform to grow your practice, this is an opportunity to join a firm where the demand already exists. With a significant increase in HNW residential instructions flowing through an established Private Client team, the firm is looking to appoint a senior hire who can help capitalise on that momentum.
This is not a role where you are expected to build in isolation. You will be joining a profitable and growing platform with an existing network of high-value clients, strong cross-referral opportunities, and genuine investment into the long-term growth of the practice.
The Firm This is a highly regarded West End law firm with an exceptional reputation across the HNW market. The firm acts for entrepreneurs, international families, investors and leading names across media, entertainment, sport and the creative industries. It has built a particularly strong position advising clients whose business and personal affairs often intersect, creating a steady flow of sophisticated private client and property work.
The culture is collaborative, partner-led and commercially minded. Despite significant growth in recent years, the firm has maintained strong staff retention and continues to attract high-calibre lawyers looking for a more entrepreneurial and supportive environment than larger traditional practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The residential team works closely with the wider Private Client offering, giving the department access to consistent, relationship-driven instructions and a strong internal referral network.
The Role You will join the Real Estate team as a senior strategic hire, working closely with the Head of Department to help grow and develop the practice further. The role will involve advising on a broad range of high-value residential property matters, alongside wider real estate work where relevant. The existing workflow includes HNW residential transactions, investor work, financing matters, and broader property-related advisory work.
A key attraction of the role is the volume of quality referrals already coming from the firm’s Private Client team. There is a significant opportunity to leverage these relationships while also developing your own client base further across HNW individuals, family offices, investors and international clients.
You will also play a visible role in the strategic direction of the department, contributing to business development initiatives, client relationships and the continued growth of the wider Real Estate offering. The team itself is lean and well-supported, allowing partners to remain close to clients and transactions without unnecessary layers of hierarchy.
