A highly respected and successful regional law firm with an established London office is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its successful and growing Residential Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor who wants to work with an established client base and develop their career within a supportive, collaborative, and genuinely people-focused firm.
The role will have a strong focus on new-build Residential Conveyancing, acting for developers on the sale of newly built properties. However, the role will also handle a broader range of Residential Property transactions.
The Role
- Managing a varied Residential Conveyancing caseload, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
- Acting for developers on the sale of new-build London properties
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and associated property documentation
- Managing transactions from initial instruction through to exchange and completion
- Providing clear, commercially focused advice to clients
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with developers, clients, and professional contacts/referrers
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and firm procedures
- Managing files with limited supervision and meeting billing and performance targets
- Contributing to team business development activities

Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, CLC or CILEx in England and Wales with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE
- Strong experience managing a Residential Conveyancing caseload in a fee-earning capacity
- Experience handling new-build Residential Conveyancing transactions is highly advantageous and will be an important part of the role
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client-care skills
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Commercially aware, proactive, and confident working with clients directly
