Liver Law Solicitors is an ambitious, modern and growing law firm with exciting plans for continued expansion throughout the Liverpool City Region.
As part of those plans, we are looking to recruit an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to establish and develop our residential property offering from our Huyton office.
We have invested heavily in our technology, systems and infrastructure to create a firm that supports long-term growth. With modern cloud-based case management, AI-assisted technology, dedicated marketing support and an experienced management team, we provide our lawyers with the tools they need to succeed.
This is far more than a traditional conveyancing role.
It is an opportunity to build something of your own.
The successful candidate will initially manage their own residential conveyancing caseload before progressing to recruit, develop and lead their own team as Head of Property – Huyton Division.

The Role
You will independently manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion with minimal supervision.
Your caseload will include:
- Freehold Sales
- Freehold Purchases
- Leasehold Sales
- Leasehold Purchases
- Transfers of Equity
- Remortgages
- Equity Release
- Buy to Let transactions
- Property Investor transactions
- Portfolio acquisitions and disposals
- Bridging Finance transactions
- New Build transactions
- Auction transactions (desirable)
You will liaise directly with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, lenders, developers and introducers, ensuring transactions progress efficiently whilst delivering an exceptional standard of client care.

As the department develops, you will also have the opportunity to assist with business development, strengthen introducer relationships and recruit, mentor and develop your own team.
About You
We are looking for someone who is technically strong, commercially minded and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
You will have:
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX).
- A minimum of 3–5 years' experience independently managing a residential conveyancing caseload.
- Proven experience handling files from instruction through to post-completion with minimal supervision.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of both freehold and leasehold conveyancing.
- Experience acting for owner occupiers, Buy to Let landlords, professional property investors and high-volume property clients.
- Experience dealing with bridging lenders and specialist finance transactions.
- Experience handling Transfers of Equity, Remortgages and Equity Release matters.
- Experience working with major mortgage lender panels and complying with lender-specific requirements.
- Excellent understanding of the UK Finance Mortgage Lenders' Handbook.
- Experience operating within the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), including compliance with CQS standards, protocols and best practice.
- Excellent organisational, file management and risk management skills.
- Outstanding communication and client care skills.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach.
- The ambition to help build, develop and grow a successful property department.
Desirable Experience
Although not essential, experience in the following would be advantageous:
- Supervising junior fee earners or support staff.
- Business development and networking.
- Developing relationships with estate agents, mortgage brokers and other introducers.
- Assisting in growing a conveyancing department.
- Proclaim experience (we are in the process of upgrading to CaseMatter Evo (ie Proclaim with AI)
