About the Setting
We are an award-winning part-residential school providing specialist independent support for learners with Autism and wider SEN (Special Educational Needs). Seeking a Support Worker:
- Full-time hours (44.25 hrs per week), either Monday to Friday or Monday to Sunday.
- Part-time applications are encouraged where possible.
- Term-time only role (due to school and residential nature).

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting young people with daily living skills and fostering independence.
- Supporting learners with severe and complex needs with sensitivity and adaptability.
- Developing positive, trusting relationships to enable young people to feel safe and confident.
- Encouraging engagement in education, extracurricular activities, hobbies, and community participation.
- Collaborating closely with teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals, and families.
Shift Options:
Monday to Friday (44.25 hours):
- 06.45–13.30
- 15.45–22.00
- Long day (06.45–22.00, split shift)
Monday to Sunday (44.25 hours):
- 06.45–13.30
- 15.45–22.00

- 12.00–22.00
- 06.45–16.00

Candidate Requirements
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Support Worker whose prior experience must include:

Essential:
- Clear eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).

Desirable:
- Relevant prior experience in teaching assistance, childcare, or adult care.
- Work/support experience with young adults/children with SEN or personal exposure to SEN.
