Residential Support Worker
Residential Support Worker (SEN) : Full Time
Are you seeking an opportunity to join an award-winning care and education organisation? We provide specialist education and residential care for children and young adults aged 4-25 with a range of additional needs, including epilepsy, autism and severe learning disabilities. Responsibilities
- Supporting young people with daily living skills and encouraging independence
- Providing personal care where required, always with dignity, respect, and compassion
- Building positive relationships to help young people feel safe and confident
- Encouraging participation in education, hobbies, recreation, and community activities
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals, and families
- Recording important information and contributing to care plans
- Celebrating progress and recognising every achievement, no matter how small
Shift Availability
Applicants must be available to work the following shifts:
Option 1:
- Monday – Friday: 06.45 to 13.30, 15.45 to 22.00 (must be able to do a mixture of shifts)
Option 2:
- Monday – Sunday: 06.45 to 13.30, 15.45 to 22.00, 12.00 to 22.00, and 06.45 to 16.00 (must be able to do a mixture of shifts)
Qualifications & Requirements

- Demonstrated resilience, flexibility, and a positive, patient approach to supporting individuals with SEN (Special Educational Needs)
- Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory
- Access to your own transport is required due to the location of the facility
- Previous experience in care or the education sector is not required but is desirable

- Competitive compensation: GBP 12.75 to GBP 13.65 per hour
- Full-time, permanent position (44.25 hours per week, term-time only), starting in September
