SRVO Valuations & Surveys

£Competitive, aligned to experience

Home Based (Portfolios Nationwide available)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Residential Surveyor (AssocRICS or MRICS) to join our Survey and Professional Services team, delivering high quality valuation and professional survey work for major UK lenders and private clients.

This is a home based role within a stable, technically strong environment, with inspections and diary centrally coordinated so you can focus on professional judgement, inspection quality and report delivery.

Your workload will include lender valuations, Red Book valuations for probate, taxation and matrimonial purposes and, where appropriate, Homebuyer Reports and Building Surveys. Volumes are structured to prioritise quality, accuracy and defensibility.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

This role requires strong technical capability, sound judgement and disciplined compliance.

You will take ownership of inspections and reporting while operating within a well organised professional support structure.

You Will

  • Undertake valuation and survey work in accordance with lender and RICS standards
  • Deliver accurate, robust reports within agreed SLAs
  • Follow specific lender guidance and Red Book requirements
  • Maintain CPD in line with RICS regulatory obligations
  • Keep up to date with market and regulatory developments
  • Adhere to Quality Assurance, Health & Safety and internal compliance procedures

You will build trusted relationships with lenders and private clients while continuing to strengthen your technical expertise.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll be successful in this role if:

  • Your reports are technically sound, clear and delivered within SLA
  • You manage inspections efficiently with strong professional judgement
  • Lenders value your reliability and communication
  • You actively progress towards MRICS
  • You contribute positively to a technically focused and collaborative team

How You’ll Spend Most Of Your Time

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
