Technical Support - Resident Engineer
Location: Riyadh

Role Overview
The Technical Support - Resident Engineer role involves providing frontline technical support for packaging automation systems. This includes diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and integration issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitoring system performance
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance
- Logging and escalating incidents
- Coordinating with engineering teams for complex troubleshooting
- Supporting customer users on-site
- Guiding users through system operation
- Documenting solutions
- Contributing to continuous improvement of system reliability and uptime
Collaboration
The resident engineer will collaborate closely with Emerdis project and support teams to ensure stable operations and high service levels at the customer facility.
Qualifications
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting Skills: Strong skills for automation systems, industrial equipment, or similar technical environments.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to diagnose issues, interpret logs and performance data, and propose effective corrective actions.
- Customer Support and Service Experience: Clear communication, expectation management, and issue follow-up.
- Relevant Qualifications: Diploma or degree in engineering, IT, mechatronics, or a related technical field is beneficial.
- Experience: Experience with warehouse automation, industrial control systems, or logistics operations, along with the ability to work on-site and in shift-based schedules, is an advantage.
