Resort Safety Supervisor (SIA Qualified)

Department: Resort Safety Employment Type: Permanent – Full Time Location: Minehead Reporting To: Darren Hinchcliffe


About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional role model to assist in managing the day-to-day operation of approximately 40 team members. You will be responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out effectively and professionally whilst maintaining high levels of communication between all team and managers across the resort.

Reporting to the Resort Safety Assistant Manager, you will ensure the delivery of a safe and secure environment for both our guests and team, while delivering exceptional customer service. You will support the wider team to ensure a high standard of guest and team care is delivered across the resort.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Security Leader who can support the team in delivering fantastic service, putting guests first in everything you do. You will have experience in training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment to deliver an excellent experience.

You should:

  • Have a current SIA Door Supervisor License and experience in leading a team.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving License (desirable).
  • Be confident in directing and responding in any situation while delivering consistent brand standards.
  • Foster strong leadership, motivate and engage your team, particularly during high-demand periods.
  • Manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential

  • SIA Door Supervisor License (or equivalent)
  • Strong team leadership and people management skills
  • Strong understanding of safety and compliance
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proven leadership experience in security

Desirable

  • Level 3 First Aid at Work
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Experience in holiday parks, resorts, or high-volume venues
  • Level 3 Security First Line Manager qualification
