Role purpose:
As Resource Manager, you will support the Europe ACG Talent Management Team in delivering high-quality staffing, consultant development, performance management and related people processes across one or more Practices or large sub-teams. Depending on business needs, this role may support a defined Practice directly or work alongside a TM Lead on a larger or more complex Practice.
Working closely with other Resource Managers/Talent Managers, Practice stakeholders, consultants and relevant functions, the TM acts as a trusted Talent Management partner, helping to balance business needs with consultant goals and deliver strong staffing and talent outcomes through sound judgment, collaboration and proactive execution.

Meet the Team:
- Reports to: Head of ACG Talent Management, Europe. No direct people management.
- Day-to-day collaborators: Talent Managers, Practice leadership, consultants, Partners, Human Capital colleagues (e.g. Recruiting, Operations, Learning & Development) and Finance.
How this role will contribute to team success:
- Support effective project staffing by balancing client delivery needs, consultant capabilities, development goals and availability.
- Provide reliable TM support and practical insight to TM Lead and Practice stakeholders, helping to identify capacity, performance or engagement topics early.
- Strengthen One Team collaboration across TM and partner functions by working transparently, sharing information and solving issues jointly.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Support Resource Management and Staffing for Practices or large sub-teams. Build a strong view of the consultant population, project pipeline, business priorities and recurring talent themes. Success means trusted relationships, timely follow-up and clear visibility of emerging topics.
- Manage staffing and capacity support. Support project staffing, working with TM Team, Partners and project leaders to understand requirements and find practical solutions. Success means effective staffing outcomes, healthy utilization, limited avoidable escalations and accurate tracking of availability.
- Support development and performance. Understand consultant skills, goals and development needs, and support feedback follow-up, Career Review preparation and performance-related discussions. Success means well-prepared inputs, early identification of performance or well-being concerns and appropriate escalation.
- Use data and collaboration to improve outcomes. Review reports such as utilization, staffing, availability and OW Balance, and share practical insights with the TM team and Practice stakeholders. Success means accurate data, clear reporting and joint problem solving with other TMs and functions.
- Contribute to TM operations and initiatives. Maintain accurate data in relevant systems, prepare materials for staffing and talent meetings, and contribute to process improvements. Success means reliable execution, strong attention to detail and proactive support for the wider TM agenda.

Skills & What You Bring to the Team:
- Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience in Resource Management, Consultant Project Staffing, HR, recruiting, consulting operations or a fast-paced client services environment; consulting experience is helpful.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with credibility across consultants, project leaders, Partners and colleagues across functions.
- Self-motivated, resilient and proactive, with strong ownership, attention to detail and flexibility to reprioritize as needs change.
- Comfortable with data, Excel, PowerPoint as well as resource management and AI tools; able to turn information into clear actions and high-quality materials.
- Collaborative team player who works as One Team, shares information openly and partners effectively across functions and geographies.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Experience in management consulting, project-based professional services or a similarly dynamic business environment.
- Experience with staffing, utilization, performance management or resource planning systems such as Certinia.
- Curiosity and confidence using technology or AI to simplify TM processes, improve reporting and reduce manual effort.
- Genuine interest in consultant development, career success and a supportive work environment.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done.
