Job Description

Are you looking for a new challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to join our new service at the very beginning, to influence how the service develops and to make a real impact in people’s lives!

We are launching a new, forward-thinking service designed to provide rapid, compassionate, and highly personalised support to people experiencing multiple disadvantage including homelessness, substance misuse, offending behaviour and domestic abuse. This innovative model brings together trauma-informed practice, assertive outreach, and multi-agency collaboration to ensure people access safety with wrap around support to enable them informed choices in their lives.

As a resource officer you will provide specialist assessments under the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act to create strength-based support plans. Working closely with housing, health, police and voluntary sector partners, you will lead on safeguarding concerns, ensuring statutory duties are met. You will be expected to work flexibly across community settings, including outreach, sourcing emergency accommodation and working in partnership with agencies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
