A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our Distributed Field Service Team as a leader, where your expertise will ensure business continuity within Siemens Energy’s Gas Services division. Imagine leading the planning and deployment of field service personnel to achieve service excellence and operational efficiency across projects in the UK & Ireland. You will manage resource allocation, oversee team performance, and ensure compliance with safety standards, all while engaging proactively with stakeholders. Your role will be pivotal in supporting both immediate project needs and long-term team development, directly contributing to the successful delivery of outages and service contracts.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Manage the end-to-end resource planning process for all field service projects, ensuring timely delivery by strategically allocating qualified personnel.
  • Perform line management duties for the Field Service team, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management to foster a high-performing culture.
  • Oversee operational and compliance management, ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies while leading Zero Harm initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, facilitating effective resource sharing and communication.
  • Prepare and deliver operational reports to senior management, providing insights on resource utilization, project status, and key performance indicators.

What You Bring

  • You hold a Higher National Certificate (HNC), Higher National Diploma (HND), or equivalent experience in a relevant technical or business field.
  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in resource management or operational planning, preferably within an industrial or technical field service environment.
  • Ideally, you are IOSH or NEBOSH certified.
  • Proven experience in team leadership or line management, with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • Strong IT and systems skills and knowledge.
  • Skills include effective conflict resolution, workflow management, and process improvement, with a focus on quality assurance.
  • You excel in building relationships and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating accountability and adaptability.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation. We bring all gas turbines under one roof, alongside steam turbines and generators. We’re enabling decarbonisation through digitalisation, modernisation, and service innovations that extend asset life and improve emissions.
