Based out of our Newcastle office, this is a permanent role within our People function. At Credera, we operate a flexible hybrid working model. This requires 3 days per week working onsite in your local office. What You’ll Do
- Assist with interview scheduling, candidate packs, and other coordination tasks.
- Help organise and support assessment centres and recruitment events.
- Provide general administrative support for recruitment projects as required.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment records.
- Help sift CVs via our ATS.
- Support the recruitment process by sourcing and reaching out to candidates using LinkedIn and other channels.
- Conduct candidate screenings and provide summaries/screening notes for hiring managers.
- Assist with advertising job roles and posting engaging job descriptions.
- Act as a friendly ambassador for Credera, providing a positive experience for candidates throughout the process.
- Maintain the recruitment email inbox, moving, escalating and responding to tickets in a timely manner.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
